MTV Video Music Awards
For the 2022 VMAs, we created a motion-led campaign built for speed, scale, and scroll-stopping impact.
Using the VMA logo as the foundation, we turned the identity into an immersive 3D world that pulled from the chaos, energy, and spectacle of music video culture. The system blended nominee imagery, bold motion, and surreal transitions into a campaign that felt loud, fast, and distinctly VMA.
The result was the biggest VMAs in history by total minutes consumed (157M, +79% YoY) and the most social live event of the year.
